Aim:
Disseminate useful daily information to the users and encourage lifelong learning through its reading materials and resources.
Objective:
- To select, evaluate and acquire library materials in varied formats to meet and respond to the needs of our users.
- To provide opportunity, ensuring freedom and equal access to information for all members.
- To maintain and preserve books, materials and resources and other related materials in an organization.
- provide materials and resources that entertain and inspire as well as services offering space for people and information to come together, and programs that would create library awareness and consciousness.
Outcome:
Syllabi and course assignments include information literacy skills development through use of library/learning resources. Active learning strategies (i.e., problem-solving assignments, group work; hands-on assignments) using a variety of information resources are used.
