About SDO:

Student Development Organization (SDO) was established in 2008-2009 at AISSM’s Institute of Information Technology under the aegis of Board of Student Development (BSD) of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). SDO of college looks after the protection of rights and supervises the development activities of the students. SDO promotes and co-ordinates the different students’ activities for better corporate life. SDO tries to nurture students’ mental, physical, cultural growth with various activities to improve their overall personality and to make them civilized Indian citizens to compete in the globalized world. The activities like Personality Development, Nirbhay Kanya Workshop, Disaster Management Workshop, Special Guidance Scheme, Earn and Learn Scheme etc. are carried out every year under SDO.

SDO aims to nurture students’ mental, physical, cultural growth with various activities to improve their overall personality and to make them civilized Indian citizens to compete in the globalized world.

OBJECTIVE

Student Development Organization’s (SDO) objective is that student should be given opportunities –

  • To gain personal and professional skills in the area of leadership development.
  • To develop skills to inculcate social justice, responsibility, self awareness and personal development.
  • To be responsible and accountable.

 OUTCOME

Outcome of the Student Development Organization

Student will be able to:

  • Work individually and in group settings to realize their full potential as emerging leaders and also help in their personality development.
  • Develop social skills and responsibilities towards society, environment etc.
  • Take responsibility and be accountable for their own actions.
