Plastic Ban Activity: 25/06/2021
Plastic Pollution is currently one of the biggest environmental concerns. The short term benefits and convenience of plastic and plastic goods have led to a boom in the production and consumption of plastic. Over the past century, excess consumption of plastic has surpassed management of plastic waste and led it to become a scourge to the planet. Plastic is a menace that impacts not only the environment but our health and wellbeing as well. We have all contributed to this problem, knowingly and unknowingly and we must work to reduce and eliminate plastic pollution.
As per circular no.D.O.14-9/2021(CPP-II), dated 07/06/2021, regarding Elimination of Single Use Plastic and dispose off plastic waste to reduce the use of plastic, our Institute students took pledge regarding plastic ban on 25/06/2021 by 354 students and 09 GFM. GFM of every class took pledge with students in the online classes regarding Plastic ban. Principal Dr.P.B.Mane motivated and guide to this activity and coordinated by SDO and Mr.S.R.Kokane.
Vaccination Drive: 27/10/2021
Students and Staff members were informed that a free vaccination drive was arranged in AISSMS Campus on 27/10/2021, from 10am to 5pm. It was mandatory for all those students and staff who have not yet taken even single dose or have taken only single dose of vaccination and were eligible for vaccination. Event was coordinated by SDO and NSS of AISSMS Institutes. Principal Dr. P.B. Mane guided for this activity. 40 students and staff eligible for vaccination dose participated in this activity.
Nirbhay Kanya Workshop: 25/02/2022
A workshop on Nirbhay Kany was organized under SDO on 25/02/2022. Prof. (Dr.) Arun Shinde delivered a motivational speech on ‘Woman Empowerment’. 67 female students participated in this workshop were guided on ‘Self Defense and demonstration’ by Mr. V. J. Desai.
