ISA: Founded in 1945, International Society of Automation (ISA), develops widely used global standards; certifies industry professionals; provides education and training; publishes books and technical articles; hosts conferences and exhibits; and provides networking and career development programs for its members.

AISSMS’s IOIT ISA Student Chapter was formed in 2015. It is dedicated to serve the purpose of helping its members to enrich their technical knowledge and expertise in the field of industrial automation. Currently, 21 students are active members of the chapter. Mr. Shivanshu Patil, third year Instrumentation engineering student have been selected to receive $750 as ISA PMCD scholarship towards education fees in June 2021.

Aim:

          To increase technical knowledge of students in the field of automation and control.

Objective:

  • To conduct technical activities such as webinars, expert lectures, competitions, industrial visits, mentoring sessions etc. for students.
  • To create awareness and encourage students to utilize the benefits of ISA membership, including scholarship, technical papers, magazines, conferences.

Outcome:

  • Students will be benefited by improvement in technical knowledge, skills development.
  • Students will be able to build professional connections.
