FSAI:Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI) is established in 2002 representing the Fire Protection, Life Safety, Security, Building Automation, Loss Prevention and Risk Management domains.

AISSMS’s IOIT FSAI Student Chapter was formed in 2016. It is dedicated to serve the purpose of helping its members to enrich their technical knowledge and expertisein the field of safety and security.Currently, 53 students are active members of the chapter. Various activities had conducted in our Institute for students to provide knowledge of building automation, fire safety and security industry.

Aim:

Tocreate awareness about life safety, fire and security, automation industry among students and society.

Objective:

  • To conduct technical, social, and techno-social activities such as webinars, expert lectures, workshops, visits to automation laboratories, tree plantation, marathonetc. for students.
  • To encourage students to utilize the benefits of FSAI membership including newsletter, journal and also to involve students in association activities.
  • Tocreate awareness about safety, security and automation industry, product line, current technology among students.

Outcome:

  • Students will bebenefited by improvement in technical knowledge.
  • Students will be able to build professional connections.
