Program Educational Objectives

I.  Preparation To prepare students to excel in academics
postgraduate programmes or to succeed in  industry  and
technical profession through globally accepted fundamentals and recent trends in
Instrumentation & Control Engineering education.

II. Core Competence To develop the ability of students to use mathematics,
scientific  and fundamental as well as advanced techniques in Instrumentation
Engineering /Automation to solve the real time engineering problems .

III. Breadth To train students with good scientific and engineering
breadth so as to comprehend, analyze, design, and create novel products and solutions
for the real life problems along with fault finding and maintenance of  instruments.

IV. Professionalism To inculcate  professional and ethical
attitude, effective communication skills, teamwork skills, leadership qualities,
interview skill, motivation for entrepreneurship multidisciplinary approach in students
to succeed in industry, technical profession and in and around.

V. Learning Environment To provide an academic environment and
building confidence to the students   for life long learning and self
learning needed for a competitive exam and successful professional carrier.

Programme Outcomes:

  1. Graduates will demonstrate knowledge of mathematics, science and Instrumentation
    & Control  Engineering.
  2. Graduates will demonstrate an ability to identify, formulate and solve problems
    in various fields of  Instrumentation & Control engineering such as Process
    , Biomedical, Environmental, Agriculture Instrumentation  and Building Automation
    etc.
  3. Graduate will demonstrate an ability to design and prepare  experimental
    set  ups  and  conduct experiments , analyze  and  interpret
    data.
  4. Graduates will demonstrate an ability to understand  process requirements ,
    selection and purchase of  components , equipments  and automation tools
    as per need and specifications   in order to design Instrumentation
    system for the application.
  5. Graduates will demonstrate an ability to visualize, understand and work  on
    laboratory and Multidisciplinary tasks.
  6. Graduate will demonstrate skills to use modern engineering tools, software’s
    and equipments to analyze problems.
  7. Graduates will demonstrate knowledge of professional and ethical responsibilities.
  8. Graduate will develop  confidence  to  participate  and communicate
    their  gained technical and soft skills knowledge effectively in both  verbal
    and written form  in  group  discussions   and  Interviews
    for placement and in their professional carrier.
  9. Graduate will show the understanding of impact of engineering solutions on the society
    and also  will be aware of contemporary issues.
  10. Graduate will develop confidence for self education and ability for life-long learning.
  11. Graduates who can participate and succeed in competitive examinations like GATE,
    GRE, CAT,CET etc.
