History-The event “ALACRITY” was started in the year 2010 by AISSMS’s Institute of Information Technology. ‘ALACRITY’ which literally means enthusiasm is culmination of cultural, technical, sports and social events Since its inception the event has gained tremendous success. For the past eleven years this college fest has been one of the most awaited intercollegiate festivals. Alacrity has been receiving participation from Institutes throughout the country including various Technical and Non-Technical Institutes. Alacrity is a conglomeration of Technical, Cultural, Sports and Social Competitions. Alacrity hosts more than 60 individual events. The college-fest is rated in the Top 10 events in Pune by Campus Times, Pune. ALACRITY is an event of the students, for students and by the students. ALACRITY has its very charismatic legacy and is rated in top 10 events of the city. We value the efforts of engineer in the society and that is why it has adapted the tag line ‘Reward of Being an Engineer’

Objectives-

  • To provide platform for students for exploring their art
  • To provide opportunity for participation in reputed competitions related to extracurricular activities
  • To enhance management and communication skills of students
  • To inculcate the team work spirit

Outcomes-

  • To explore the opportunities for participating in various competitions
  • To effectively organise various events, tech fest
  • To work in team
